Product Description
This rug is entirely handcrafted using traditional techniques. The warp and weft are made of cotton, while the knots are wool, spun by hand using a drop spindle (kirman). The wool yarns are naturally dyed with plant-based ingredients. For example, the red tones are obtained by boiling rose petals, which transfer their natural pigments into the wool.
As time passes, the colors of this rug will become even more vibrant due to the nature of natural dyes.
This rug is hand-knotted using the Turkish knot (double knot) technique, which offers superior durability and a longer lifespan compared to Persian knots. With approximately 350,000 hand-tied knots, it is a high-density, premium-quality piece.

Cleaning & Care Instructions
This rug is made from naturally dyed wool, so avoid using any chemical cleaners or carpet shampoos.
If a liquid is spilled, immediately blot the area with a paper towel, then gently clean using a cloth and white bar soap foam. Prompt action is crucial—leaving spills for too long may cause the stain to soak into the foundation, making it harder to remove.
For deep cleaning, we recommend professional cleaning by experts specialized in handwoven wool rugs.
